About our Cast Metal Partials
For patients who are not in need of implants or full dentures, Affordable Dentures & Implants offers a wide variety of partial denture solutions, including cast metal partial dentures. Cast metal partials are a strong, durable and long-lasting option for patients who are looking to replace several missing teeth. The results can be very natural-looking.
What Are Cast Metal Partial Dentures
The Cast Metal Partial Denture is often considered the longest lasting partial denture, as it is stronger, less bulky, and offers the best fit. The cast metal partial is fabricated using a metal framework to which the on-site laboratory will attach higher grade denture teeth. This is a removable device that will rest into the gaps in your teeth and will be attached to the remaining healthy teeth with metal clasps.
Are You a Good Candidate?
In order to qualify for this type of denture, you must have enough healthy teeth for the device to clasp on to. If you are missing more than a few teeth, or your overall oral hygiene is lacking, your denture dentist may recommend another denture solution to better fit your unique circumstance.
This partial denture will take two to three weeks to make since our special metal framework is made by an outside laboratory. However, this is the most durable and longest lasting partial denture solution available.
The cast metal partial dentures are completely custom and while they do carry a higher cost, they will be the strongest fitting partial denture that you can get. Because we believe that everyone has the right to a beautiful smile, we also offer patient financing with payment plan options.
It is important to note that these devices are more difficult to reshape if your mouth shifts or changes too much over time. This is why it is important to consult with your denture dentist and make sure that your remaining teeth and mouth will be healthy enough to sustain and support a cast metal partial denture device.

Real Patient Reviews
Me and my husband shopped around many other places that tried charging us thousands of dollars. This place made the dentures on the same day and saved us thousands of dollars. Great establishment!
Affordable Dentures & Implants is an awesome business and everyone we talked to helped me out. I cannot express how comfortable they made me feel because I had a very bad dental experience when I was young, and I felt calm while xrays were done and they worked up a cost sheet for what I needed to have done.
Nicest and most knowledgeable staff of any dentist I have ever visited. I took my wife there during the pandemic of Covid-19 and the staff did an excellent job of making sure everyone was safe. These folks are the best and the pricing was affordable. If you need dental work or dentures, this is the place to go!!
The staff is professional and good spirited. The pricing is terrific and clear. No nonsense or misleading phrases. I highly recommend Affordable Dentures & Implants to all.
FAQs
Are metal partial dentures safe?
It is important to consult with your denture dentist about any metal sensitivity or allergies you may have, as prolonged exposure to this metal device may cause irritation or other adverse reactions. Metal partial dentures that are well fitted to your mouth should feel comfortable and keep your smile looking and feeling natural. It is important to make sure that the rest of your teeth and mouth are healthy when you get metal partial dentures, because significant shifting or movement in the mouth could affect the fit of your denture and cause soreness or irritation over time.
Can you eat with cast metal partial dentures?
When you first get your metal partial dentures, you should stick to soft foods that aren’t super sticky or tough, until you get used to the new feeling in your mouth. Eventually, you’ll want to make sure that you are being extra careful to chew slowly and take smaller bites of whatever food you’re eating, so as not to dislodge your new dentures.
Can you sleep with cast metal partial dentures?
You can, but it is recommended that you remove your dentures at night to give your gums a break and avoid any possible dislodging of the device while you sleep. Always make sure that you are cleaning your dentures thoroughly to make them last longer and keep them looking great
How long does it take to make a cast metal partial denture?
At Affordable Dentures & Implants, we can have your partial denture ready in 2-3 weeks after your initial appointment.
How much do metal partial dentures cost?
Each denture device is unique and can carry different costs depending on how many teeth are being replaced, the structure of the device, and whether it is an upper or lower denture. Metal partial dentures are traditionally the more expensive option for partial dentures because they have to be specially crafted by a third party lab and the metal material is more expensive than acrylic. Visit our pricing page for a full breakdown of partial denture costs.
Should I get metal partials or acrylic partial dentures?
Metal partial dentures are more expensive than acrylic dentures, but they last longer and are less bulky. You can see the metal when you open your mouth, while acrylic dentures are often pink in color and look more natural. Acrylic partial dentures are made with a plastic resin that breaks down faster and they often feel less natural in the mouth than metal partials.
How long do metal partial dentures last?
Cast metal dentures are strong and durable, and are the longest lasting type of partial dentures.
What is the metal used in partial dentures?
The metal used in partial metal dentures is chrome cobalt (cast metal). Chrome cobalt is a light alloy metal that is medically approved. Metal dentures may be a great choice for those who need partial dentures, as they offer a great fit, plenty of support, and are designed to be long-lasting. However, those with metal allergies should avoid this denture material.
Can metal partial dentures be repaired?
Due to the specialized fabrication process of cast metal partial dentures, our dental staff must evaluate any potential repairs to determine their feasibility.
