This style of denture will be similar to our economy dentures, but will come with a preview of the dentures before they are finalized. This allows for more assurance that you’ll be getting exactly what you want. You can also get these dentures with same-day service in most cases and they come with a 1 year warranty.

Premium Denture

Premium full dentures bear a strong resemblance to natural teeth, along with features like enhanced natural appeal and wear- and stain-resistance. And, the additional customization options give you the freedom to create teeth with a more natural look.

UltimateFit Denture

This style of denture is crafted to comfortably fit the contours of your mouth for a snug fit that lasts all day. Full dentures are an acrylic, removable device that is meant to replace a full arch, or “row”, of missing teeth.

How long does it take to make full dentures? arrow

At Affordable Dentures & Implants, we can sometimes craft dentures as quickly as the same day of your initial appointment. Our most custom dentures can take up to seven days, compared to 6-8 weeks like most other practices.

Are complete dentures and full dentures the same thing? arrow

Complete dentures is just another word for full dentures, they are the same type of denture.

How do full dentures work? arrow

Full dentures are false teeth that are placed over the gums when all teeth in the arch are missing or removed. If you’ve had extractions, there will be necessary healing time before your full dentures can be placed in your mouth successfully. These dentures will be removable and come in various styles based on quality and how customizable they are.

How long do full dentures last? arrow

Full dentures can last up to 5-10 years, depending on what style you get and how well you take care of them.

How to keep dentures in place without adhesive? arrow

Having your dentures relined will likely be the best solution for a denture that is regularly needing an adhesive to stay in place. You can also choose to get permanent dental implants and you will never have to use denture adhesive again.

How much is a full set of dentures? arrow

The cost of a full set of dentures ranges from $1,000 to $3,000 per arch, with factors like materials and case complexity affecting the price. Premium dentures may reach up to $8,000 for a full mouth replacement. Prices vary based on individual needs and treatment plans.

Are full dentures more comfortable than partial dentures? arrow

With both full mouth dentures and partial dentures, there will be a brief period of adjustment needed. Both denture options might feel slightly uncomfortable when you first begin wearing them - but this should go away after some time.

Are full dentures better than partial dentures? arrow

Whether you need full dentures or partial dentures depends on your circumstances. If you are missing all of your natural teeth, complete dentures are the best option for you. However, if you are missing just some of your teeth, partial dentures may be the best choice for you. Ultimately, your dentist will decide which kind of dentures you need based on your individual needs.

Can a partial denture be made into a full denture? arrow

Yes, a partial denture can be converted into a full denture. In some cases, those who receive partial dentures may lose the rest of their natural teeth - and then require full mouth dentures. Denturists can use the existing partial denture and convert it into a complete set of dentures, so you don’t have to start all over again.

Can full dentures be flexible? arrow

No, flexible dentures are only available as partial dentures. Flexible dentures are a great solution for those who are looking for partial dentures made from softer material. However, flexible dentures are not suitable for those who need a full set of dentures.

Can you get dental implants if you have full dentures? arrow

If you’ve decided that you want to have dental implants but you currently have dentures - do not worry. It’s possible for you to switch from dentures to implants, and many people choose to do this after having dentures for a while.

Do all upper dentures have to cover your full palate? arrow

Most complete upper dentures cover the palate of your mouth, however, palateless dentures can be offered. Palateless dentures do not cover your entire palate, which is ideal for those who find having their palate covered uncomfortable.

Do full dentures have metal in them? arrow

Some full dentures contain metal but this material is more commonly used in partial dentures, which often use metal clasps to secure the dentures in place. Dentures are typically made out of materials such as metal, nylon, acrylic, and porcelain.

How to clean full dentures? arrow

Like natural teeth, dentures need to be cleaned twice a day. You should fill your sink up with warm water (never hot, as this can damage your dentures), and rinse off your dentures to remove any large food particles before brushing. Then you should use a soft-bristled toothbrush to thoroughly but gently brush your dentures with a non-abrasive cleaning agent that your dentist has recommended. Please see our denture cleaning guide for more information.

What are full dentures made of? arrow

Full dentures are typically made out of materials like acrylic resin, nylon, or porcelain. Acrylic resin is a common material, due to it being lightweight, and it can be more affordable than other materials.

Which teeth are not included on a full set of dentures? arrow

In a full set of dentures, all of your teeth on both your upper and lower jaw will be replaced. If you still have natural teeth remaining, partial dentures are the better option. These can be customized to replace whichever teeth you need.

How many arches in a full set of dentures? arrow

With full dentures, all teeth on both arches can be replaced, meaning complete upper dentures and lower dentures can be fitted.

How many teeth are in a full set of dentures? arrow

Full dentures need 20 teeth to be considered functional, but may have up to 28 teeth if more support is necessary.
